An official announcement of the new smartphone BlackBerry Motion, for the last two weeks flashed on the teaser and rendering. There is a 12-megapixel rear shooter and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Their much vaunted DTEK by BlackBerry security software will also be present on the phone. The new Motion aims to take that further with an even larger 4,000mAh unit that is rated to push 32 hours of mixed use.

Although unconfirmed, Android Central reports that the BlackBerry Motion will be initially available in Middle Eastern markets for around $460 (around £350).

From the picture, we can see the BlackBerry Motion retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and features a traditional home button. The BlackBerry Motion is a mid-range dual-SIM Android 7.1.1 Nougat smartphone. For security, the company has tucked in a fingerprint sensor on the front panel.
