'IT' heading for a very big, above $100 million opening weekend!

If early ticket sales for Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's classic horror tome are any indication, then the New Line Cinema flick is in for a very healthy weekend at the box office. Current projections anticipate IT could drum up $60 million over the weekend, which would make it the biggest September opening ever. With the movie releasing this Friday across the world, analysts are predicting that "It" is expected to see a $60-million opening at the USA box office.

"It" will be the biggest domestic launch since Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 7), considering the opening week collections, if it actually ends its maiden week past $100 million.

We know that Pennywise returns from the depths of Derry every 27 years to terrorize the town and eat the children, which would mean that when the clown shows up for his encore it'll be 2016!

Tim Curry's version of Pennywise the Clown is a cult favorite. You can thank Bill Skarsgard's "spectacularly scary" turn as Pennywise for that. It-part one of two, to be released at a later date-follows a group of kids in Derry, Maine, who encounter an entity that transforms into their worst fears.

Students can subscribe to Spotify and Hulu for $5 per month

Want to see a movie that will scare the living "It" out of you? This gives it that 80s coming-of-age vibe with a touch of Stephen King horror. "They see the standpipe, some of them say it's exactly what they thought it was going to look like, some say it's not at all what they thought".

"By jumping on the back of the excitement of the movies, we hope people will relate to our films and take on board their safety messages". I'd rather see less gore if the result is more believable, than have my suspension of disbelief broken by poorly-made computer images. Lillis delivers an unbelievable performance, and I foresee her name becoming well known as her career continues.

"Hang tough, New Kid", she tells him after meeting him, referencing a popular song by the group.

Even though Skarsgard's performance was breathtaking, it was the performances of the kid actors that pushed forward an wonderful coming of age movie that the audience was not expecting to see. Hardcore fans will find the story not all that true to the book.
