Kyle Lowry, Raptors Agree To Three-Year, $100 Million Contract

Outside DeRozan, Lowry, and Ibaka, there's little chance the Raptors starting five (and depth chart) will look anything like last seasons.

Lowry's contract is a three-year deal worth $100 million, which serves as a healthy pay raise for the All-Star point guard.

Raptors president Masai Ujiri said that one of the reasons they traded for Ibaka instead of waiting for free agency was that he and the team "need a training camp (together)".

Meantime, the Raptors will now focus on re-signing their starting all-star point guard Kyle Lowry.

Turkey considers the PYD/YPG to be the Syrian offshoot of the PKK, a designated terrorist organization in Turkey, the US and EU. The YPG are the main component of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) supported by the United States in Syria.

The athletic big man's deal, which can't be finalized until the NBA's moratorium on free agent signings is lifted on Thursday, is reportedly worth US$65 million. Ibaka is a single father and said his daughter's preference would have a lot to do with his decision. The new deal for Serge will average out to be over $21.5 million per season.

The team has also tried to get rid of DeMarre Carroll's contract, because Toronto will be into the luxury tax if Lowry returns as well, which remains the expected outcome.

"His style of play fits our style of play", Raptors coach Dwane Casey said when the trade was made.

Ibaka didn't call out any reporters specifically, but as Bleacher Report noted on Saturday, this week ESPN's Zach Lowe discussed the topic during an appearance on BR's "The Full 48" podcast. Redick provides both. The 11-year veteran shot 42.9 percent from three last season, a year after leading the league with a 47.5 percent mark. The Oklahoma City Thunder inherited the rights to Ibaka, who was then playing in the ACB League in Spain, and brought him to the National Basketball Association in 2009 via buyout.
