Police identify mother, 2 daughters found dead at Ohio home

Police say a mother and her two adult daughters found dead at a home in OH may have died the day before a family friend found their bodies.

The three bodies were under covers, nearly tucked into bed, detective Dave Loeding tells PEOPLE. It is generally not understood who would have sought the women's deaths.

Early reports suggested all three had been shot, however, further investigation indicates the mother, Suzanne Taylor, had suffered a knife wound.

Detectives confirmed the incident at Valley Forge Drive was connected to the probe into the slaying of Suzanne Taylor and her daughters Taylor and Kylie Pifer who were aged 21 and 18. They found stab wounds in one of the victims but were not able to determine a likely cause of death for the other two women.

A motive for the killings remains unclear, but police said the case does not involve a suicide.

Police have not named a suspect or person of interest, but have said they are questioning several people while they gather leads. Taylor was a student at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, while Kylie attended Bowling Green University.

Alonso: 'If we win by September, I will stay!'
And while McLaren still wanted to win championships with Honda, there were serious concerns as to whether that was achievable. Alonso was then questioned about what it would take for him to stay at McLaren beyond the end of the season.

Taylor Pifer was a senior at Kent State University where she studied fashion.

Adding, 'But there is more work to be done'.

No arrests had been made as of press time.

The girls' stepmother, Sonya Pifer, described her stepdaughters as "great kids" and "great students".

North Royalton police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating. I'd like to give you answers.
