Vulgar Joke by Late Night Comedian Stephen Colbert Puts Pressure on CBS

The late night host found himself at the center of an internet controversy when his monologue on May 1 culminated in a tirade of comedic insults against President Trump.

A "flashback" to 2005 at Comedy Central with Stephen Colbert and guest Jon Stewart, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Ed Helms and Rob Corddry.

Colbert took a trip down memory lane to his last day working at The Daily Show.

The show opened with Stewart making a large sandwich for current host of "The Daily Show" Trevor Noah, who was smashing a bunch of buttons while waiting for Stewart and Colbert to deliver his lunch to him on a silver tray.

Samantha Bee (now the host of Full Frontal on TBS) had one of the more interesting stories to trade with the group.

Colbert then directed their attention to his female producer. While Corddry and Helms have returned to acting, Bee and Oliver host weekly talk shows of their own that may well compete against Colbert's at the upcoming Emmys.

"I had to flee the Klan one night", Colbert confessed. It's not that I think Stewart affects policy in any meaningful way-he's largely preaching to my liberal coastal elitist choir, but it did help to process outrageous and terrifying news when people as amusing as Stewart and his golden-era correspondents were there taking us through it, as outraged as the rest of us and making us laugh for a few minutes.

Kershaw, Bellinger lead Dodgers to 10-2 win over Padres
Bellinger bookended the scoring for the Boys in Blue with an RBI single in the fourth, and a grand slam in the top of the ninth. He understandably wanted to maintain his streak, but it may be time for him to rest up and try to get back to full health.

In the skit, Stewart, wearing a dark brown wig, cries and eats yogurt as he realizes that his correspondents will 'all spread your wings and leave me'.

"We went out to a cross burning in the summertime, as you do", Colbert said.

He ended with a classic Jon Stewart moment on Colbert's fellatio joke about Trump and Russian Federation.

"The things that you say, even if they are crass, or even if they in some ways are not respectful enough to the office of the president - we can insult, [Trump] can injury", Jon said. The scene showed Bee entering the room, with a perm and a jacket, and she started lamenting about Colbert's departure from the show.

The Daily Show alumni all expressed gratitude to Stewart, who gave all of them their big breaks. "But might I say, I learned it from you, dad".

"The process of making the show somehow became entwined with my process of making sense of things".

POTUS then took aim at CNN's Chris Cuomo, calling the reporter a "chained lunatic" who is "like a boiler ready to explode".
