Is a Logan sequel possible?
There is just something special about Jackman as Wolverine and the struggles he has endured through all of the movies over the past seventeen years.

Logan tells the story of Wolverine, the former X-Men who is now old and retired, with his literal battle scars showing up on his body. Neither of the previous two movies did well with critics, and moviegoers weren't insane about them either. Spoken in whispers throughout the film, Logan reveals that Xavier, who can be mentally connected to a vast number of mutants (especially when using Cerebro), was the one who killed mutants in what is known as the "Westchester Incident", where Xavier's School was located in Westchester County, New York.
Logan presented fans with the idea Professor X's mind could be a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Obviously, this would present what looks like an impossible impediment for any future return of either of these characters in a subsequent Logan sequel - or even another X-Men film.

This is the tenth picture in the X-Men film series. Its characters might be supernatural, but they feel utterly human. While not every single comic book-based movie comes with an extra scene after the credits roll, a good portion of them do, and these scenes are not to be missed. Logan is now officially in theaters, and fans couldn't be happier.
Chris Aronson, Fox's domestic distribution chief talked about the film's success in a statement in which he said, "The movie is one of the truest movies to the source material in the comic book universe that's ever been done". There is an edge to him and that is exasperated by age and depression in Logan. It is the best "Wolverine" movie, though. With X-23 going off to hang out with the other mutants at the end of the film, presumably her adventures in any sequel would involve them as well.
'It was my first movie in NY and it did give me many, many opportunities to play other things over the years that I may not have had, ' he said.
