Flip or Flop's Tarek and Christina Break Silence on Their Dramatic Split

"Flip or Flop" star Christina El Moussa is finally opening up about what led to her split from husband Tarek after eight years of marriage.

The pair announced their split months after an incident at their home in which Tarek ran out of the house with a gun and the police were called. Tarak said he left his Orange County, California home so that he could have time to think and that he had brought a gun in order to protect himself from wild animals. He commented, "There's mountain lions and bobcats and rattlesnakes and big wildlife back there". I went out for a hike to scout some trails, it wasn't even a big deal.

"We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina's great work on "Flip or Flop.' When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children", the network said then in a statement obtained by ABC News".

"It's going to be about all the lessons I've learned along the way", she said of the book, which is in the early stages.

Tarek, who was very public about his battle with thyroid cancer, explained his chose to keep the testicular cancer private because "t was more of a personal thing". "For me, the reason I'm coming out with it is to create awareness and I feel like it's something I have to do". While Tarek was still undergoing radiation, Christina began in vitro fertilization treatments and suffered a miscarriage in 2014. She tells People that by the time they made things official, "weight was lifted off me". "I was just overwhelmed".

Unilever rejects £111 billion offer from Kraft Heinz
The company is the world's fourth-largest consumer goods company by sales, with revenues previous year of €52.7 billion. Kraft Heinz (KHC) soared to the top of the S&P 500 today after making a $143 billion bid for Unilever (UL).

"It was too soon for me", El Moussa told People, recalling how he returned to work a mere four weeks after the birth of their son Brayden, now eighteen months old.

"We weren't able to properly communicate anymore", she added. "We have a great crew, we have so much fun on set and we, you know, we look forward to continuing the show".

Invoking Donald Trump's infamous "fake news" mantra, the two said a lot of the gossip out there about the split is simply untrue. While they are still filming the show together, it was reported in January that the two have not been getting along and there were rumors that Tarek was humiliating Christina on-set and being verbally abusive.

Tarek went on to say that he originally didn't want to come out about his diagnosis because he's a very private person.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The rumors surrounding Tarek and Christina El Moussa's divorce aren't quite believable. It's like anything. There's challenges in life.
