The incident was reported around 1:30 a.m. Saturday in Bloomfield Township, where a 49-year-old Beverly Hills man and his wife called for an Uber ride home from a party, the Free Press reported.
A 23-year-old Uber driver has been arrested in MI after police say he stabbed a passenger multiple times in front of his wife because he felt the victim disrespected his vehicle. The victim was able to disarm Allemon and restrain him until police arrived.
When Allemon pulled up at the pickup location, the victim tapped on the window of his auto to let him know he and his wife were ready to enter the vehicle.
The two men began to fight and Allemon stabbed him multiple times.

Allemon drove about a mile down the road before stopping in a parking lot and telling the couple to get out.
Earlier this year, an Uber driver in the city of Kalamazoo, shot and killed six people during a seemingly random rampage across town, where he picked up passengers in between killings. The victim asked if he and his wife could remain in the vehicle while they waited for another Uber driver to arrive because of a snowstorm outside.
But how safe is UBER? "Yeah, it's smart, you don't have to worry about how much you're drinking but maybe it isn't so smart", Eric Novak said. "What has been described here is appalling", a spokeswoman said. The company has offered to assist investigators.
The Detroit Free Press reports that 23-year-old Uber driver Jacob Matthew Allemon responded to the couple's request. He was arraigned December 19 by Judge Kimberly Small in 48th District Court, who set bond at $250,000.
