Police in Tennessee are on the hunt for four inmates who managed to escape the county jail on Christmas morning after removing a toilet and sneaking out through the whole behind it.
Early Sunday morning, the six inmates removed a loosened bolts holding down toilet which had rusted, getting access to a hole in the wall with concrete damaged during previous repairs to the toilet and plumbing system. However, David Frazier, who has been described as the most unsafe of the bunch, remains on the run. And two of the Tennessee residents who allowed him into their house were charged with harboring a fugitive.
Two inmates, John Mark Speir and Steven Lewis, were captured that evening, the sheriff's office said.
Sheriff Armando Fontes said they've had numerous issues before with water leaks in the jail.
The inmates who escaped were facing various charges, including arson, violation of probation, possession of a Schedule II substance and aggravated robbery, according to local ABC affiliate WATE.
