Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho: 'No plans to rest Romelu Lukaku'

Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho has provided an update on three key United players that could miss the club's home match on Saturday.

"Belgium is Roberto's responsibility and it's his decision to play him or not to play him".

Lukaku has been the key player in that run, with his two goals in Moscow adding to the victor he scored at Southampton, and taking his total for United to 10 in nine matches.

Here, Press Association Sport assesses how Lukaku fared at Old Trafford as United thrashed Palace 4-0.

Not that Mourinho wished to be seen to be issuing Martinez with instructions.

"It is exciting times here and I want to be part of that success", he said.

And while Mourinho may give his star a breather in League Cup ties, there is the real prospect of Lukaku being required to start every game until Ibrahimovic returns.

Majority Of Americans Say Trump Unfit For Office
The July 27 New York City poll found more voters blame Cuomo for poor subways; Cuomo-de Blasio feud hurts city, voters say. Breaking down the data, there was a profound partisan and gender split over Trump's fitness for office.

There were a couple of moments before the break where it looked as if Lukaku might add to his goal tally, with one seeing Hennessey come out to beat him to the ball and another Henrikh Mkhitaryan mess up a pass as he tried to send him through.

Mourinho still insists on revealing no details about the veteran striker's return from knee ligament surgery, although even the most optimistic estimates put it at December.

"For all top United strikers over the years, [it's] been scoring the big goals in the big games", Keane said.

"Since his first loan to West Bromwich Albion, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands, fighting for his evolution".

"He was very strong in his desire to be playing in a team with other objectives now and with Champions League football".

"He works hard, he rests, he has a great professional life outside the football pitch and he has great ambition".

"They can always be in finishing areas, in fact I want them to be, so if people like Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial score goals, I think it's just a natural effect of the way we play".
