Usher says he did not sleep with herpes accuser for this reason

Usher says he did not sleep with herpes accuser for this reason

Up until this point, Usher's camp hasn't said much about the rumor, but according to TMZ, he's breaking his silence.

During a press conference in NYC, accompanied by her lawyer, Quantasia claims Usher picked her out of the audience at a concert, got her number, and they had sex in her hotel room. The insurance company also claimed Usher withheld his alleged herpes status from them, as well as his alleged sexual partners.

Now TMZ reports that Usher indeed may have pulled her on stage during a show, but "absolutely" did not chop her down back at the hotel. However, her attorney Lisa Bloom says that the two issues are not connected. The 21-year-old Quantasia claimed that she was 19 when she met Usher at his concert, as Sharpton stood out in the crowd for wearing a birthday crown.

One source says he believes it's "an esteem booster" to choose various people Usher sees in the audience and single them out. A security guard then asked for her number because Usher saw her backstage and was interested in her. She also confirmed that one of the three people who recently filed a lawsuit against Usher tested positive for the virus. "I would never have consented if I had known", she said. That tweet had 6700 likes as of Wednesday morning.

Sharpton and the other plaintiffs would not have had sex with the entertainer if he had told them he had herpes beforehand, the complaint states.

But however much Usher and his critics want to go after Sharpton, they haven't had much definitive to say about Usher's other accusers, other than that they think they must be lying.

Sharpton became a mother previous year and has tested negative for herpes, according to Bloom, who said one of the other two plaintiffs does have herpes. Further, the company claimed Usher never revealed that he settled a similar previous claim for $1.1 million.
