Meek Mill Arrested for Allegedly Driving Dirt Bike Recklessly Through Manhattan

Mill was arrested for reckless endangerment after he was caught illegally dirt biking, after the rapper posted an Instagram video that recorded the incident.

Several of Mill's fans on Instagram said he broadcasted a live stream on Instagram after cops stopped him.

The NYPD has been strict on dirt bike riding in the streets recently, having crushed confiscated dirt bikes on Facebook Live last summer in an attempt to send a message to would-be riders.

Mill was arrested Thursday night after reportedly breaking traffic laws while riding a motorcycle in Manhattan, according to Page Six.

The first sporting event ever held at the stadium was a 2016 International Champions Cup match between A.C. The joint North American bid is widely deemed as a favourite to win as the only competitor is Morocco.

He has been charged with one count of reckless endangerment and was expected to be released on bail Friday morning. At press time it was unclear if Mill was still in police custody and a spokesperson for the rapper could not be reached for comment.

TMZ reports that someone called 911, and the cops picked up Meek at 10:16 pm on Thursday night (April 17).

The report says he was arrested at 11 p.m. on 10th avenue and Dyckman Street after police saw the footage online. "And they pulled him out the vehicle". Shortly before the arrest, Meek stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon for a performance of "Young Black America". In the video, Mill can be heard telling officers he was coming from a basketball game, to which an unidentified policeman starts asking him about Wednesday's dirt biking.

His lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, told the paper he was being singled out for his fame. Vulture claims an officer could be overheard saying "I got pictures and video of you riding up and down".
