Taxi strikes pedestrians near Boston airport; several injured

A vehicle struck a group of pedestrians at Boston's Logan International Airport on Monday, the Massachusetts State Police said on Twitter.

The driver was cooperating with authorities and was "known to be a very nice gentleman", McGinn said.

There were serious injuries in the crash.

Police say several people were injured, some seriously. The Associated Press said the driver was 56 years old.
