Shraddha Kapoor Wishes She Could Meet The Real Haseena Parkar

Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor, who looked fierce in the trailer of "Haseena Parkar" released Tuesday, shared her experience of portraying such multi-layered character.

The most interesting part of the film is that it will see real life siblings Siddhanth Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor as reel life siblings. Shraddha's brother Siddhanth Kapoor plays the role of Dawood Ibrahim, who headed Mumbai-based organised crime syndicate D-Company and is also accused of the 1993 Mumbai blasts, in which hundreds of people lost their lives. Shraddha was totally my second choice.

This is the first time, Shraddha will be seen sharing the screen space with her brother. "I knew she could play a 17-year-old and a 45-year-old too", said Apoorva. When asked about getting the look right for the character, Shraddha said, "I gained seven-eight kilos for the movie". The movie is the biopic on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar. During a recent media interaction, the director revealed that the untitled film will be a high octane actioner.

The movie was initially titled Haseena: Queen of Mumbai. "I loved the story, I loved the script", said the "Half Girlfriend" actress.

Actress Shraddha Kapoor yesterday launched the trailer of her upcoming film Haseena Parkar. "I consider Shraddha Kapoor is one of the finest talents we have now and Haseena Parker is one of her finest performances".

The Apoorva Lakhia directed film, which also stars Rajesh Tailang, Ankur Bhatia and Sunil Upadhyay, is all set to hit the theatres on August 18.
