Home Run Derby Bracket Released

Home Run Derby Bracket Released

With 61 home runs in last year's Home Run Derby, Giancarlo Stanton set the all-time record for the most home runs in a single derby.

New York Yankees rookie Aaron Judge has been a revelation this season.

The 2017 MLB Home Run Derby will be held on the first day of All-Star Game festivities on Monday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET at Marlins Park.

Should Judge advance, he would face either No. 3 seed Cody Bellinger (+500) of the Dodgers or No. 6 Charlie Blackmon (+2000) of the Rockies in the semifinals.

The veteran slugger packs substantial power and might be worth taking a chance on if you think that Stanton and Judge might falter.

Votto won't compete in the 2017 MLB Home Run Derby, which should help Stanton's chances to successfully defend his crown.

Home Run Derby Bracket Released

Major League Baseball announced the bracket (last week).

Miami Marlins first baseman Justin Bour follows through on a two-run base hit in the sixth inning of a baseball game against the Atlanta Braves, Sunda.

Thirty seconds of bonus time will also be given if a player hits two home runs of 440 feet or more. Bellinger is going to win NL Rookie of the Year and became the fastest player in league history to hit 21 career home runs.

The 6-foot-7, 282-pound Judge leads the majors with 30 home runs, which already is a Yankees rookie record for a SEASON.

Moustakas is the first member of the Royals to take part in the Home Run Derby in 26 years.

Stanton is the No. 1 seed in this tournament and will square off against New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (+1400 to win the Home Run Derby) in the first round. Then a Judge/Stanton final would be potentially epic. While Judge hits a homer every 12.2 plate appearances, Bellinger is one every 11.68. It does help to have some experience in this competition.

United Nations member countries approve global nuclear treaty
Netherlands, the only NATO member state to participate in the proceedings, voted against the treaty while Singapore abstained. All humanity expects that nuclear-armed States join the treaty "sooner than later", but "I have no dates", she said.
