WhatsApp Closer To Introducing 'Recall' Message Feature

Upon sending or receiving multiple photos or videos (more than four) in WhatsApp for iOS, the new app version will automatically bundle them together as an album.

Meanwhile, the app refresh also brings in filters for photos, videos, and GIFs right inside the WhatsApp camera.

WhatsApp's gotten revamped in a big way, with the popular messaging app upping the stakes when it comes to visuals.

WhatsApp has updated its iOS app to version 2.17.30. There are now five to choose from: pop, black and white, cool, chrome, and film.

In addition to all the aforementioned features, a new feature has also been added to empower quick replies in chats. Users can now edit a photo, video or GIF post-capture with a filter.

Toshiba shares rise on report Broadcom chosen as chip unit buyer
Broadcom has teamed up with USA buyout firm Silver Lake in its bid for the chip business, sources have told Reuters previously. Foxconn acquired Sharp previous year in a deal worth in the neighborhood of $3.5 billion.

As per the Twitter account WABetaInfo, a fan site that posts about the new features to be included on WhatsApp, the Recall feature will soon be introduced to the messaging platform.

WhatsApp keeps on rolling out new features but one of the most highly-awaited features of it so far is the revoke button.

If you want to reply to any message, simply swipe right, and you can quickly get the option. After swiping, it opens a chat window below it where users can type a response.

The new update is already live and you can update your existing WhatsApp application from the Play Store. Both WhatsApp and Instagram are under Facebook's umbrella, and both added ephemeral features recently in a bit to take on rival Snapchat. This seems like it could be most useful in group chats, where sometimes it's hard to tell who was replying to what. Not anymore, though. To view everything that was sent, just tap on the album.
