Sony officially ends production and shipment of PlayStation 3 in Japan

The Japanese website (translated) mentions that the last model to be manufactured, CECH-4300C, was the 500 GB PlayStation 3 that was introduced on August 24, 2014.

Sony has issued the 4.70 software update for its PlayStation 4 console.

And while Sony India hasn't commented on this just yet, we won't be surprised if the axe has silently fallen on the PS3. The console received all latest sports games from Electronic arts including Federation Internationale de Football Association 16, NFL, GTA V among many other newer titles. Because of this, Microsoft's Xbox 360 - which had launched a year prior to the PS3 - managed to stay ahead of Sony's system for the majority of the previous generation.

First launched in November 2006, the PS3 console leaves a legacy of more than a thousand games, both exclusive and non-exclusive. We'll pit PS Plus against Xbox Live Games with Gold very soon, so check back to see who we thought won the month.

Sony is set to roll out its lineup of video games for the PlayStation Plus June 2017. Are there any games coming for free you are excited to play? These two games are also available on PS4 via the Cross-buy.

ICSE and ISC results will be declared on Monday afternoon
The Chief executive and secretary of the council will declare ICSE & ISC 10th Results 2017 from the direct link provided below. Previous year the pass percentage of the students under ICSE exams were 98.50%, while 96.46 was the pass percentage in ISC .

But now it seems that Sony are ready to mix things up a little.

There have been some suggestions that PlayStation Plus could include PlayStation VR games at some stage in the future.

Some people also complained on Sony's support forum about the "error code SU-30625-6" to bring the matter to the company's attention.

Production of the PlayStation 3 has seemingly ended in Japan.

The market has had a mixed reaction over Sony's intention to cease production of PS3. It's sold 85 million units in its 10 years of life, although it couldn't match the success of its predecessor, the PS2. Sony also added, "PS3 shipment in the USA already terminated in Oct 2016". It has to; after all, it sold no less than 80 million units over an 11-year period, fostering a rich gaming community numbering that many millions of users, and being part of milestone markers such as Blu-ray and PlayStation Plus.
