One Direction's Harry Styles gets advice on his solo career from Adele

What Harry didn't mention in the interview is his past in One Direction or any of his former bandmates. "I think she leads by example".

"I think it's hard to not have influences from what you grew up listening [to]". It's the band, it's one thing.

The confession came after the radio DJ asked: "Did you think we'd do something weird like bring all your exes in?"

The other members, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, had connected with Styles on the British U.K.'s X Factor. "I used to research dates, then I said I'm not going to do that any more", he said. "It's impossible to go in without a perception of someone and you've never met them".

A teaser trailer broadcast during an ad break in the United Kingdom gives 7th April as the release date for the debut solo single from the One Direction heartthrob.

NY Lawmakers Want Budget Vote; Cuomo Says There's No Rush
It would be an ambitious timetable, but scheduling miracles do seem to materialize many times around adoption of the state budget. Andrew Cuomo Monday to approve a fiscal year 2018 State Budget Extender and avoid a state government shut-down.

He added: "As a credible piece of indie-pop balladry that moves Styles into a new arena, I'd say he just about pulls it off". Harry opened up about his new single on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Thursday, explaining: "We just wanted to make what we wanted to listen to and that has been the most fun part for me about making the whole album".

Harry Styles has revealed that Adele gave him a very generous 21st present - a copy of her own album 21.

Styles will perform the single, which shares the same name as the Prince album and could boot Ed Sheeran off the top of the charts, for the first time on Saturday Night Live in the US.

'I've spoken to her a little bit, she knows one of the guys that I wrote [his album] with a lot, ' he said.

He's opened up about writing his album, telling Nick: 'I started the album end of Feb a year ago for about three weeks, and then had to stop for about five months when I went to do a movie [Dunkirk]. "He [Ed] is really good - he's one of the most talented dudes I know".
