Giraffe born at Toledo zoo won't go on exhibit for a while

All my attention and prognosticating is centered on an educational and interactional animal park in rural NY state, a very pregnant 15-year-old giraffe named April and her round-the-clock live webcam feed. "Perhaps suggesting a new position of calf". Let's just hope she doesn't keep us waiting until May or later!

The live stream of April and her impending delivery is still a popular attraction on many web sites.

A GoFundMe page set up for April, giraffe father Oliver and their calf has raised more than $100,000 out of a goal of $50,000. The zoo says she weight 130 pounds and stands 67 inches tall. After YouTube took down the live stream following protests from animal activists claiming that the live stream is a violation of YouTube's nudity and sexual content policy, the video on April's pregnancy has eventually been up and running again.

Zoo officials are saying there is a definite bulge on the left side of April, indicating something is sticking out!

"April's website, aprilthegiraffe.com, includes a link for buying apparel from baby clothing to adult-sized hoodies imprinted with a giraffe's head and "#Aprils View Crew" along with the park's name and location.

Boro strive for balance to stay afloat in Premier League
Those same Teesside voices, though, were soon silenced by three goals in 19 minutes from the home side. Middlesbrough - winless in 13 matches - are second from bottom and seven points adrift of Hull.

"We are very proud to have the only West African Giraffes in the United Kingdom here", said a zoo spokesperson.

In a Facebook post Friday, they expected April to give birth soon, and they would be "shocked" if she went through the weekend without giving birth.

Animal Adventures says they have a back-up plan and will go live from their Facebook page of the feed. Yes, she will have this calf when she is good and ready. Animal Adventure Park wrote on Facebook. While April did not 'deliver, ' the park says they are still confident in the health of both mom and baby. Patch explained that it's not very likely that you will be able to tell April's labor until you see an actual hoof begin to poke out of her rear-end. The zoo has announced that it will conduct a naming contest after April delivers a baby to involve fans.

But without a newborn giraffe, some comments have taken a darker turn, with more than a few people wondering whether the pregnancy is a hoax.
