Microsoft confirms two major Windows 10 updates coming in 2017

A new collaboration between VMWare and Adaptiva will help VMWare customers move their older PCs over to Windows 10 and next-generation PC management in the cloud using Adaptiva's peer-to-peer (P2P) technology.

The new Windows 10 Creators Update will have a feature that is created to prevent users from installing classic Win32 apps.

Windows users can no longer download apps from Web browsers. Qualcomm says these devices "won't be extremely low-priced, but they also won't be too expensive", which should make them available to a wide array of potential buyers.

Microsoft's new addition could assist users in avoiding malicious programs and software and viruses. It is seen to be Redmond's response to the growing threat of Google's Chrome OS in the education and enterprise markets.

It seems Microsoft wants to give the Windows Store a push while using it to make Windows more secure.

Non-stop service to fly from SW Missouri airport to Houston
Airport board of directors chairman Tom Babik calls the Houston service "wonderful news for the region and the community". The outbound flight will leave Bradley at 6:30 AM (ET), with an arrival in San Francisco at 9:46 AM (PT).

In a way, it's like Windows RT all over again but, at the same time, a bit more hopeful.

More information about the new update is expected to be revealed at Microsoft's Build conference in May, but Redstone 3 is expected to bring a number of much-needed updates for Windows 10. If you do try to install a Win32 app, Windows 10 will show a pop-up saying that the Windows Store helps to keep your PC "safe and reliable".

The latest preview to the upcoming update reportedly offers the ability to ban standard apps in favour of its Universal Windows Platform. It also means going through Microsoft's app approval process.

Since Microsoft released Windows 10 they vowed to never release a new Windows version again. There are still very few such "UWP win32" apps on the Store, but that could grow in the days to come.

We return to talk about the next major update of Windows 10 that will take place in the month of April as it will integrate a new optional feature that will prevent the installation of unwanted applications.
