Laura just wants to be a child, but being the genetic copy of Wolverine gives her no such youthful luxuries.
Video alert! Shah Rukh Khan is best suited to play Wolverine, says Hugh Jackman By Nikita Thakkar In his recent interview, Hugh Jackman said that maybe Shah Rukh Khan play the role of Wolverine. "I would definitely love to do X-Men with him". But I hope it's not a harbinger of the route every superhero movie takes in the future.
That wasn't the case with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009), Jackman's first solo Wolverine movie, which botched the adaptation of Wolverine's secret origin as a young, sickly and wealthy 19th century Canadian boy named James Howlett who later would mutate into an indestructible force.
He said: "I had never heard of X-Men when they called me for the test". Recently appearing on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", Hugh Jackman credits Jerry Seinfeld for convincing him to quit Wolverine once and for all. This one line from Hugh has left us stumped and we have started imagining SRK as Wolverine already. To celebrate the release of Jackman's last Wolverine film, Logan, on March 3, the actor took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to celebrate.
Natalie Portman will not attend Oscars due to pregnancy
Meanwhile, Emma Stone is hotly tipped to win tonight's Best Actress award for her role in musical La La land . Even though Natalie won't be there, she'll be up against some stiff competition for Best Actress.
Strangely, Stephen Merchant isn't used to his full comic potential and plays very much a straight role here, and to good effect. Since then, "every time I came back to it, it really felt fun and fresh". Hugh did six movies of the blockbuster series and Logan is the last. There's plenty of profanity, which in the right hands could serve to make the characters more realistic, more believable as people who get frustrated or threatened or angry and drop the occasional F-bomb. If you don't know anything about the relationship between the title mutant and Charles Xavier (Stewart), the arc they experience in this film would be far less impactful.
Set in the near future, the film follows a tired Logan (Jackman) as he cares for an ailing Professor X (Sir Patrick Stewart) in a hideout on the Mexican border.
"Logan" is set in the year 2029, and shows Hugh Jackman's character old and exhausted of the pains of the world.
