Donald Trump Jr. criticizes London mayor only hours after Parliament attack

The eldest son of President Donald Trump tweeted a link to an article from September in which Mr Khan was quoted in saying that being prepared for a terror attack was "part and parcel of living in a big city".

While everyone's talking about Muslims and the deadly terrorist attack in London today, the Muslim mayor of that city, Sadiq Khan, is pushing hard for a policy that will save thousands of British lives.

Donald Jr commented: 'You've got to be kidding me?!'

Fox News reports that at least four people are dead, including a police officer, in what police are calling a terrorist attack in London.

The Mayor told the Evening Standard that he had many "sleepless nights" after a bombing in NY a year ago, and said that London needs to be prepared for these kinds of attacks.

Yankees' Didi Gregorius to miss six weeks with shoulder injury
Torres hit.448 (13 for 29) with two home runs, nine RBIs, eight runs, six doubles, one triple and a 1.400 OPS in 19 games. Tyler Wade and Ronald Torreyes are candidates to replace Gregorius at shortstop for the Yankees.

A vehicle then plouged into a crowd of people on Westminster bridge, killing one woman and injuring at least 10.

In the same statement, Khan pushed focus onto citizens claiming that they need to remain vigilant to combat the issue of terrorism in the city. Another person was stabbed near an entrance to Parliament, and the assailant was shot by police. "That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but also it means exchanging ideas and best practice", he continued.

It seems that Trump Jr shared the article without reading the piece at all.

"Nothing is more important to me than keeping Londoners safe", he said.

Trump Jr.'s assessment of Khan's comments were misleading, however.
