Metallica's James Hetfield has mic problems during performance with Lady Gaga

Hetfield and Gaga shared ended up sharing her mic, adding a cool theatrical element to the performance, albeit an unplanned one.

Gaga has always been a rock star and her latest record Joanne captures the pop star's clearest embrace of the genre to date. Her Super Bowl performance contained everything that makes Lady Gaga great: her best hits, her sense of spectacle, and her fantastic vocals.

Striking a pose after taking to the stage with Metallica earlier in the night, Lady Gaga showed off her best moves at LA hotspot Peppermint. One wrote: "All I see is a lovely woman who is not afraid to wear anything". "Together, they performed "One", a complex mix of heavy thrash riffs, acoustic instrumentation, and powerful storytelling from the band's 1989 album "...

Gaga isn't among the nominees this year because her latest record, Joanne, isn't eligible as it wasn't released between October 1, 2015 and September 30, 2016.

The tattoo is probably a temporary one as GaGa is known to pay homage to the artists she collaborates with.

The Grammys were a fiasco for Metallica.

Along with this new low point in the Metallica-Grammys relationship.

If there's anyone who can do it up during a performance, or while strutting on a red carpet, it's Gaga.

The barely-there outfit allowed the hitmaker to show off her large "tattoo" of a death-stead hawkmoth ahead of performing with Metallica. Not long into the tribute, however, she stopped and asked the show's producer if she could restart the song. At all. Which meant after a couple aborted verses he had to scurry over to Lady Gaga's mic and share hers.
