Kim Kardashian's Alleged Robbers Studied Social Media to Plan Attack

Old Omar confirmed police's suspicions that Kim Kardashian was targeted, after she was flossing her jewelry on social media, where she has nearly 170,000,000 followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, combined.

Most of Kim Kardashian's stolen jewelry has been melted and sold. Now, Aomar Ait Khedache, the 60-year-old pro who allegedly was the mastermind behind the caper, told French police that the plot was formed by mining Kardashian's social accounts for information.

The jewelry that were stolen and melted down, according to Khedache, was around 28,000 euros. He came back with bars...

As for that $4 million engagement ring, Khedache reportedly said "there is a person who has it". Khedache and his group made a decision to not melt Kardashian's 20-carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring, fearing that the unique stone will be spotted very easily.

Khedache, who is known to his fellow criminals and to police as "Old Omar", is now being held without bail.

The crook also admitted that planning the heist was easy due Kim's excessive use of social media which revealed here whereabouts and jewellery in her possession.

"It was enough to look on the internet to know everything, absolutely everything". According to the reality TV star, she had been in her bathrobe when a group of men broke into her hotel room and tied her up on the bed with plastic cables.

In a trailer for the new series of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim is seen describing the terrifying moment robbers entered her apartment in Paris. "I placed her in the bath", Old Omar told police.

Kardashian-West, 36, has recently returned to social media after a large absence following the incident.
