A NY commuter train derailed Wednesday morning in Brooklyn, injuring dozens.
The Long Island Railroad train derailed at about 8.30am local time after it slammed into a bumper block while pulling into the station, New York Post reported.

I am STILL the boss: Mulayam tells Akhilesh
When asked as to where Akhilesh would contest the elections from, Mulayam said, "He can contest elections from anywhere he wants". Sources said the parallel list could also be a ploy to "pressurise" Mulayam to "include" Akhilesh's supporters in his list.
"There's two tracks that are out the six tracks in Long Island Rail road, so one, two, four are still working", he said. The impact bent the train's doors and smashed windows.
MTA President Thomas Prendergast said there was some damage at the station but said everything should be running smoothly by afternoon rush hour.
"The LIRR obviously is the purview of the governor", Mayor de Blasio told reporters. A cause of the accident remains under investigation.
USA train engineers are required to undergo vision and hearing testing every three years, but federal regulations do not specify other medical examination standards. "Who was standing, they were thrown down the aisle". Tweets from the LIRR train crash scene corroborates that version of the story. Its 735 weekday trains transport about 265,000 customers on 700 miles of track.
